Practical Missional Ecclesiology
ne of my good friends I have known over the last several years has a little sister. She recently came to me and told me I said something to her 5 years ago that has continually had a tremendous impact on her life. At first I was concerned, and hoped that I still agreed with what I said… Well here it is, and I actually got it from someone else.
“When I am upset, it means there is something wrong with me”
She later figured out the biblical connection to this, (log in your own eye). What made this interaction especially neat, was that it was exactly what I needed to hear at that moment.

This is my great grandmother who recently passed away. I was so fortunate to have had her AND my great grandfather in my life as a child. They had a great impact on me.
Hoffman, E. May 94 08/16/1915 11/16/2009 May was born in Lincoln, Neb She was a homemaker and an office manager for Hoffman Real Estate. May is survived by her sons, Jay and Jack; and daughter, Barbara Gerlt. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ron. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009, in Central Christian Church. Arrangements by Farnstrom-Gable Funeral Chapel.
